Treatment Services

Our psychological treatment is based primarily on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and relies heavily on evidence-based treatment approaches. Cognitive-behavioural therapy examines the relationship between our thoughts, behaviours, and emotions and relies on the principle that changing our thoughts (e.g., perceptions and beliefs about ourselves and the world) and behaviours can alter our emotions (i.e., how we feel). We also have training and experience using techniques from dialectical behaviour therapy, interpersonal, psychodynamic, cognitive, and mindfulness-based orientations, which get incorporated to provide a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and preferences.
